Two new, air-conditioned bus routes between Bangkok’s city center and Don Mueang International Airport went into operation yesterday.
According to the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA), the A1 and A2 bus routes will run between Victory Monument and the Don Mueang terminal. The routes will run 14 round trips per day beginning at 9am and ending at midnight.
Fares for both of the routes are set at THB30.
The Bangkok Post reports that these new bus lines have been created as part of a Transport Ministry initiative aimed at promoting domestic and tourist traffic to Bangkok’s second-largest airport.
