Three-year-old Manassanun Thongpoo has entered a coma at Bangkok Hospital after her brain was damaged as a result of oxygen deprivation.
Rattana Nakornsopha, the Manassanun’s 34-year-old mother, sought help from the Pavena Foundation for Children and Women after her daughter was found unconscious yesterday in a school van parked outside a kindergarten in Samut Prakarn.
The school said that Manassanun went back to pick up her belongings and was accidentally locked inside the vehicle for seven hours. Rattana believed that a teacher’s negligence is responsible for Manassanun’s brain injuries, INN reported.
