At 11am today, police announced the arrest of a 33-year-old man who was accused of selling more than THB4 million in counterfeit sports clothing.
Police arrested Ruksin Arunrat after raiding a Bangkorlaem house, where they discovered 4,000 fake sports t-shirts bearing the brand names of Nike, Adidas and Lacoste.
Police said that the bust was undertaken as part of a crackdown on products that infringed on intellectual property rights.
Dailynews wrote that Ruksin admitted to producing the fake apparel and distributing it to retailers at Pratunam and Bobae Markets.
