This morning, Metropolitan police announced the arrest of six men who had allegedly produced 4,849 pairs of counterfeit Levi’s jeans.
Police said that they received a tip-off that a house on Soi Suksawat 26 had been illegally turned into an ad-hoc fake jeans factory.
During a raid on the house, police arrested Chatri Soramak, a 33-year-old man and the homeowner, together with his five accomplices. The products police seized from the house have a total street value of over THB2 million.
Chatri and his gang will face charges related to the trademark infringement and will be handed over to the Ratchaburana police station for further interrogation, FM91 reported.
