A funny flood blog called Thai Flood Hacks has burst upon the scene, celebrating the creative and wacky contraptions that people come up with to deal with life in the floodwaters here in Thailand. The blog, created by Twitter user bm_, aggregates photos of the ingenious creations seen in the floods, from water bottle doggy lifejackets to motorbike waterski set-ups to raised tuk-tuks (also spotted by Coconuts Bangkok in Lat Phrao).
It’s the second Tumblr-powered humorous flood blog to go viral, after Crisis Chic launched a few weeks ago.
Thai Flood Hacks’ mottos is “Necessity is the mother of invention” and, indeed, it’s great to see what people come up with to make a difficult situation better.
