A young woman was killed by a train at Asoke-Petchaburi crossing near the Airport Rail Link Makkasan Station this morning.
The body of Budreeyah U-ngarmsil, 18, was removed from a wheel mounting of train No. 283, whioch was headed from Bangkok to Chon Buri’s Plutaluang station during morning rush hour, MCOT reported.
Ms. Budreeyah reportedly walked into the crossing and stood in the middle of the track as a siren warning that the train was coming sounded. She was hit and killed instantly.
Police are investigating the death.
