Police are investigating whether the teenager who hit an older woman in the face with a stool also stabbed a 16-year-old boy in the neck on the same night.
The 16-year-old stabbing victim’s parents filed a complaint against the 17-year-old suspect after seeing a TV news report about the stool assault. The stab wound came a few millimeters from an artery in the victim’s neck, TLC News reported.
Regarding the stool attack, the suspect may be charged with assault, while the old lady herself may be charged with theft.
The incident started when the 17-year-old accused the old lady of pocketing his Armani watch which he had lost near National Stadium. When the suspect found that the victim was in possession of the watch, which she said she found on the street, he hit her with the stool.
The suspect was apprehended by Pathum Wan police and bailed out for THB5,000. He must report back to officers on Sep. 29.
