MR Sukhumbhand Partibatra, who was elected yesterday to another four years as the governor of Bangkok, is staging a victory rally today throughout the capital.
Sukhumbhand kick-started his thank-you trip at 9am this morning at Democrat Party headquarters. As he tours the city on a pickup truck throughout the day, Sukhumbhand will be accompanied by Democrat leader Abhisit Vejjajiva, deputy leader Korn Chatikavanij, deputy leader and former governor Apirak Kosayodhin and many other important political figures.
Sukhumbhand’s rally will pass Ratchawat Road, Sriyan Road, Samsen Road, Charansanitwong Road, Wongwian Yai area, Atsadand Road, Phahurat Market, The Old Siam Plaza, Charoen Krung Road, Yaowarat Road, Hua Lumpang Railway Station, Rama 4 Road, Henry Dunant Road and Siam Square before ending at Victory Monument.
