On Monday, it was announced at the highly appropriate venue of the Cabbages and Condoms restaurant that boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard will be coming to Pattaya this April.
Just about every item on Leonard’s Pattaya itinerary has been prefaced by the words “gala” or “charity.”
Leonard will be in Pattaya from April 5 to 10, during which time he will host a gala dinner at Centara Grand Resort in Soi Wongamat and participate in a charity golf event, funds from which will go to help underprivileged children.
The event’s organizers also mentioned that Leonard plans to stop by Bangkok and Singapore while in the region in order to conduct similarly charitable endeavors.
Also of note in this press announcement: Pattaya’s city fathers have plans to bring Mike Tyson into Thailand as well.
