Speeding to Suavarnabhumi because you’re late for a flight? Slow down.
Suvarnabhumi Airport Police have launched a road safety campaign to “encourage” folks to drive safely near the airport.
Over 125,000 cars visit the airport every day and accidents are frequent, especially during Songkran, Suvarnabhumi Airport Deputy Director Itthipol Boonaree told NNT.
Police will set up checkpoints for drunk driving and speeding from now until April 18 as part of the campaign.
