Singaporean love triangle murder suspect may surrender soon

The Singaporean man suspected of killing his wife’s lover in the Chatuchak area last week may surrender soon.

Bangkok police reportedly received an anonymous call on Sunday Nov. 27 saying that Mr. Hsu Wei Hua would turn himself in within the next few days and asking what would happen at that point.

“We told him that the Singaporean can go to any police station. Then the man said that maybe the Singaporean would surrender in a few days,” said Bangkok Metropolitan Police Bureau spokesman Major-General Piya Uthayo.

Major-General Piya said police who received the call at Sutthisan Police Station could not tell if the caller was Hsu himself, the Straits Times reported.

Hsu allegedly stabbed to death Ittiphan Kuwakorn, the lover of his Thai wife, in a struggle that was captured on CCTV cameras. He then fled in a BMW 325i and has been on the lam since.
