Sierra Leone citizen caught with crystal meth in stomach at Suvarnabhumi

A Sierra Leonean man was nabbed with 755 grams of crystal meth at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport yesterday March 13.

Samuel Ayo Pratt was arrested with 49 bars of ice with an estimated street value of THB2 million.

He had arrived on a flight from Ethiopia and was waiting to connect to Penang, Malaysia, where he was planning to unload the drugs.

Pratt confessed to police that he was being paid USD3,000 to carry the ice from Cameroon by swallowing it, MCOT reported.
