Police have arrested a Taiwanese man in Bangkok’s Chinatown suspected of buying baby corpses to sell them online.
Officers said that Chou Hong Hun, 28, was detained in a hotel in Bangkok’s Yaowarat district with the corpses of six babies in a suitcase. The baby corpses had religious threads and tattoos on them.
The man confessed that he had been hired by another Taiwanese man named “Kun Yichen” to buy the corpses for use in superstitious ceremonies. He said he had paid a total of THB200,000 for the six dead babies and planned on selling them on Taiwanese websites, The Bangkok Post reported.
