At least 50 shots were fired during a gun battle between rival teenage gangs on Ekkamai Soi 30 this morning at 8:30am, the Bangkok Post reported.
Pol Lt-Col Apichart Thongchandee, a Khlong Ton police station inspector, said that many vehicles were damaged from the bullets, but no people were injured.
The two groups of teenagers hailed from the Rong Poon community in Bangkok’s Makkasan district and had been feuding for a while, Apichart said.
“We now know who all the attackers are. After questioning all the witnesses and inspecting the firearms, we will seek arrest warrants for them,” said the police inspector.
