A severed human leg was found hidden in thick grass near Rama II road in Bangkok on Jan. 7, the Nation reported.
An orange sterile bag was found near the leg.
Police believe the leg was removed by a saw or a knife less than 24 hours before being found as it hadn’t decomposed at all. They are looking for more remains.
Police have several theories about the origin of the severed leg: it could be from a murder victim, a migrant worker injured in a factory accident, or amputated from a diabetes patient.
The amputation theory was deemed most likely, given the sterile bag found near the leg.
