Heavy rain caused a billboard on Rama II Road to collapse onto a furniture shop on Sunday, killing one man.
The 20 x 30 meter billboard trapped four inside the furniture shop and injured a brick layer, Daily News reported. The Bangkok Post later reported that the workman was killed. A rescue team cut through the metal scaffolding to rescue the victims.
Bangkok City Hall has ordered that the billboard be removed because of faulty design.
