Department of Special Investigations (DSI) raids across Bangkok on Saturday yielded no less than 10,000 illegally imported sex toys and counterfeit male-enhancement drugs.
After months of investigation into a Thai-Chinese counterfeit gang, the raids also led to the arrests of four suspected gang members: Sirirat Tiabpad, Wilai Chawsakarai, Somporn Lornjampa and Puchong Thaisanga, the Daily News reported.
DSI officers along with Minister of Public Health Tharit Pengdis raided two rooms in China Town Tower on Mangkorn Road, where the illegal sex supplements were found.
Along with sex toys, police found counterfeit Viagra and Cialis, among others.
At another suspected location used by the gang on Soi Suksawad 26, police found a variety of knockoff products and mobile phone accessories. The gang had over THB100 million in cash flow, police said.
Police have charged the four suspects with copyright and tax-related offenses and the import of illegal adult products. An investigation into the organized crime group continues.
