Police to patrol entertainment venues fighting youth sex on Valentine’s Day

Bangkok cops will be patrolling entertainment venues during Valentine’s Day to prevent sex crimes and youths from having premature sex.

The Metropolitan Police Bureau has set up an important task force “to protect people’s lives and properties” and target teenagers looking to lose their virginities on the day, the National News Bureau of Thailand reported.

A recent poll of teenagers found that many teenagers were planning to do just that – have sex for the first time on Valentine’s Day.

Entertainment venues, shopping malls, movie theater, and bowling rings will be under heavy surveillance at all times to prevent sex-related crimes.

The MPB will also send officers to tell teenagers not to wear skimpy clothing to prevent it “being the cause of sexual-related crimes.”

So revealing clothing can cause sex crimes?

We bet the girls from SlutWalk might have something to say about that.
