Bangkok police announced have three suspected members of a methamphetamine drug ring that was producing pesticide-laced ya ba pills.
In a press conference on Monday, Metropolitan Police Commissioner Lt General Kamronwit Toopkrajang announced the arrest of three members of a gang believed to be connected with drug-ring operating inside the Chachoengsao Prison.
In addition to the arrest, police operatives recovered 729 meth pills as well as chemicals used in the drug production during the meth lab raid on Sunday.
Lt General Toopkrajang said the syndicate had a machine that could produce up to 30 meth pills per minute. He noted too that the pills, which were stamped with “WY” logo, were laced with pesticides and tile grout for added yield.
The suspects were identified as Yaowares Yanil, 25, Tiwa Plubwongkram, 21, and Sihanon Kalayram, 18, the Nation reported.
