Today, police announced the arrest of two men accused of stabbing a food vendor 12 times in the Samae Dam District last week.
Police Chief Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew reported this morning that the criminals were Winai Jamnongthip and Wichai Banthong, both aged 23. They were arrested on Dec. 22 following the Dec. 20 murder of Kid Natago, a 44-year-old Maha Sarakham native.
Police told FM91 that they found the victim’s wallet and cellphone in their possession. The wrongdoers confessed to their crime and said that they did not initially intend to kill him but only wanted the money to buy speed pills.
Both Winai and Wichai will be sent to the Tha Kham Police Station.
