Yesterday, police arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly burglarizing several apartments in the Phaya Thai District.
In the early hours of Jan. 30, Songphol Baonongbua, a Maha Sarakham native, was caught on a CCTV camera while stealing goods belonging to residents of an apartment on Phaholyothin Soi 1.
From the CCTV image, police discovered that he lived in the neighborhood and subsequently traced him to his home. They found 30 stolen items and THB4,400 in cash in his possession.
According to Dailynews, Songphol confessed to his offense. He said that he committed his crimes at night, taking care to target buildings where there were no security guards on duty.
