Police authorities yesterday arrested the husband of slain Pathum Thani administrative official, Suree Yuwadamrongchai, for orchestrating her killing at Lam Luk Ka district on October 15.
The victim was shot dead by a hitman inside her car. Police also have the three accomplices allegedly hired by Somkuan Kaewkhiew in custody. They have also recovered the murder weapon as well as the motorcycle used as the getaway vehicle.
The Nation reported that Mr Somkuan admitted to paying a gun-for-hire THB600,000 to kill his second wife out of rage. He reportedly told police that he is tired of the victim’s constant pestering and taking control of his life, stressing that they have frequent arguments.
Police identified the three other suspect as Danai Matarat, 29, the getaway motorbike driver; Pawin Kongmeng, 26, the trigger man; and Thammanoon Boonwai, 36, the head of the syndicate.
Police noted though that the suspect could also have killed Ms. Suree for her money.
