Yesterday, Channel 7 actress Kemmanij “Pancake” Jamikorn shrugged off rumors that her brother might have been behind the robbery of her house. The rumors were spurred by a police report that found her brother’s fingerprints at the scene of the alleged crime.
As Coconuts Bangkok reported last Friday, Pancake and her mother insisted at a press conference that police should stop their investigation into the stolen goods. Pancake said she had recovered the stolen items – a Rolex wristwatch, a diamond ring and a pair of diamond earrings – whose value totaled THB215,000. She withdrew her report, saying that the belongings had simply been misplaced.
Dailynews reported that after the press conference, Pancake and her mother did not show up at the Minburi police station for further questioning, as scheduled. Police said that the forensic report on the robbery revealed that the fingerprints on sanitary wares and window frames in Pancake’s bathroom belonged to her brother – Patranan “Putter” Jamikorn.
“To dismiss the case, Pancake needs to answer police’s questions and so does her brother,” said Minburi police. “The items that had been earlier reported stolen need to be brought to the station too. She cannot just withdraw the case and say it is a misunderstanding.”
Meanwhile, Pancake asked the public not to put the blame on Putter and stated that she was not afraid to be charged with having caused false alarm.
“I know my brother. I know what he does,” said the 25-year-old star. “I don’t want to specify that my brother is one of the suspects. As I discovered all my belongings, I just want to put an end to the case. Everything should flow just fine.”
