Pair arrested for brutal slashing of Thai Post reporter

Bangkok police this morning announced the arrest of two suspects that allegedly robbed and assaulted Thai Post reporter Suwat Panjawong on Soi Ratchada on Mar. 18.

A knife attack left Suwat with a four-centimeter-long slash on his neck, as Coconuts Bangkok reported.

Police said that 22-year-old Sarun Chunim and 19-year-old Preecha Wararum had thrown away the knife used in the crime after stealing Suwat’s THB9,000 mobile phone.

According to Matichon, the duo has been wanted on another arrest warrant since February for an alleged robbery near Tesco Lotus Wang Hin.
