This morning, personnel at Metropolitan Police Division 7 announced the arrest of Anusorn Boonterm, who had allegedly performed three armed robberies in early February.
As Coconuts Bangkok reported last Friday, Anusorn, a 35-year-old Bangplad resident, robbed a dental clinic in Taling Chan district on Feb. 5, a Bangchak gas station in Bangkok Noi district on that same day, and a Bangkok Bank branch in Tesco Lotus in Bangplad district on Feb. 7.
Police busted him near his residence on Soi Ramkhamhaeng 50. They searched his rented room and found the same pair of Onitsuka Tiger sneakers he wore during the robberies. Anusorn, who admitted to the robberies, said that he would wear the shoes every time he conducted a crime.
Speaking with Dailynews, police stated that Anusorn was released last November after serving a four-year prison sentence for three robberies he conducted in 2008. Anusorn subsequently worked at an Italian restaurant and was fired for stealing wine. He then resorted to crime as his main source of income.
