Police from the Children, Women, and Family Protection unit arrested a 32-year-old man yesterday after an undercover prostitution sting near Samrong Market in Samut Prakan.
Thanapol Kaewrak was nabbed after he delivered two prostitute minors, aged 15 and 17, to the location and asked THB1,000 from an undercover detective for the service of the two girls. The On Nut motorcycle taxi driver admitted his offense, saying that he received THB500 for each girl delivered.
Thanapol stated that the underage teenagers, whom he met in a club, had asked him to take them to the destination. According to the unit, he will face several charges related to prostitution.
