Newspaper executive commits suicide in Bangkok

An executive at Thailand’s second largest newspaper Daily News reportedly killed himself in the company’s office on Vibhavadi Rangsit road yesterday, the Bangkok Post reported. 

Kachatorn Haetrakul, 42, a cousin of the founder of the Daily News, was the director of the distribution division which supervised delivery of the newspapers.

Thung Song Hong Police said that a maid had found his body in his office along with a suicide note that implied that he killed himself due to health problems

The cause of death was not reported by the Post.
