A mute woman with Alzheimer’s disease was found guarding the body of her deceased mother in Pathum Thani on Monday March 26.
Pol Lt Watcharapong Tienprathom said that housekeeper Ratree Plienkarn, 46, who works as a housekeeper at a condo building in Pathum Thani’s Klong Luang district noticed a bad smell coming from next door. She entered the room and found a body so she alerted the police.
When police entered the condo they found they reported finding the body of Nitchaprapa Chotenakorn, 64, lying on a bed at the back of the room, The Bangkok Post reported. Her disabled daughter Hansa Chotenakorn, aged 30-35 years old, was sitting quietly next to her.
Police determined that Nitchaprapa had died about three days earlier from illness. They are seeking out more of her relatives to formally identify the body.
