At 8pm yesterday, a 28-year-old motorcycle taxi driver was found dead in the parking lot behind the Big C mall on Soi Sukhumvit 26, Rama 4 Road in the Khlong Toei district.
Upon arriving at the scene, Thong Lor police discovered the body of Suwit Kraipat, a Phetchabun native, lying on the floor in a pool of blood with one deep wound to his torso.
Police revealed that Suwit was stabbed by his friend, Niran Noopraset, following a full-on brawl. Niran reportedly started working at the same taxi stand with Suwit three months ago and had had several fights with Suwit since.
According to Dailynews, Niran fled his Khlong Toei home and remains at large. Police will review CCTV footage and summon Niran’s relatives to the station for questioning in order to identify his location.
