Science and Technology Minister Plodprasop Suraswadi said that Thonburi will face increased flooding, TAN reported.
Plodprasop said that 4,000 cubic meters of flood water are sitting north of Bangkok and that Thonburi will be very affected because it doesn’t have a flood barrier. He said that 80 to 90 percent of the district on the west side of the Chao Phraya River could be flooded and that waters could remain in the area for three to four weeks.
