Meteorologist predict more rain in October

The Meteorology Department has predicted more heavy rain in Bangkok in Oct. 20-24, NNT has reported.

Bangkok Governor M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra toured the partly flood Min Buri area of Bangkok with a team of executives and gave out survival kits. The governor said that the flooding in the area was due in part to high tides as well as heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the Royal Irrigation Department announced that it didn’t expect the Chao Phraya River to return to normal levels until Nov. 15, the Bangkok Post reported.
