A man plunged to his death after the pick-up truck he was travelling in crashed into a side railing on the Don Muang Tollway yesterday March 27.
Saiyud Pasuk, 43, was in the flat bed of the Toyota Vigo Hilux pick-up truck when the back right tire exploded causing the vehicle to spin three times and hit the side rail, TANN reported in a story translated from the Daily News. The roof of the truck bed was ripped off and Mr. Pasuk fell out of the truck, off the tollway and onto the road below.
The driver of the truck and the front seat passenger escaped with minor injuries. The three men were on their way to install NGV tanks into water trucks for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
The driver of the truck admitted he was speeding when the accident occurred.
