Sutthisan police are investigating an incident that took place this morning in which a 23-year-old man fell off the seventh floor of Tom Mansion on Soi Ratchadapisek 14 in the Huai Khwang district.
The body of PVT Rongrit Chaikaew was found hanging off the apartment’s wall with both his calves pierced by an anti-theft fence. He reportedly fell from his room while smoking on the balcony.
Pornchai Thongburan, a boxing camp owner and an Olympic bronze medalist, told Dailynews that he rented the room for Rongrit, who was helping out at the camp.
Police searched his room and did not discover any signs of a struggle. His body will be sent to the hospital for an autopsy.
