At 8pm yesterday, a 25-year-old woman was found dead at a house in the Chaiyapruek Village on Sukhapiban 5 Road in the Bang Khen District.
Sunisa Nenkanthee, a Kampangpetch native who worked as a maid at the house, was lying face-up in a pool of blood when police found her. Forensic investigators discovered a deep wound in her throat and over 20 stab wounds in her torso and legs. Her motorcycle was reported missing.
Chailai Suwanborrirak, the 69-year-old homeowner, told police that Sunisa had come to clean her house as usual that afternoon.
An initial police investigation revealed that the murderer might be someone close to the deceased. According to Dailynews, police are searching for a suspect who was seen in a red shirt, driving a bicycle out of the village at 2pm on the day of the murder.
