Kannayao kratom grove destroyed, owner arrested

Police raided a wooden house lot on Soi Ram Inthra 99 in Bangkok’s Kannayao district and destroyed seven homegrown kratom trees yesterday.

Police detained house owner Mullika Luanlert, 20, who was involved in the illegal growing of kratom trees and distribution of the leaves. The arrest was facilitated by a tip-off that Mullika was growing and selling kratom leaves in the neighborhood.
