Israeli news reports that Bangkok terror suspect may be Hezbollah operative

Israeli media outlet Ynet has reported that the terror suspect still reportedly loose in Bangkok bears a strong resemblance to Hezbollah operative Naim Haris.

The sketch of the suspect that Thai police released on Friday Jan.13 strongly resembled a photo of Haris that Israeli security service Shin Bet published last year, Ynet reported. Shin Bet identified Haris as the man in charge of worldwide recruiting for Hezbollah.

Hussein Atris, a Lebanese man with a Swedish passport, is currently being held by Bangkok police and interrogated about the alleged terror plot.

According to reports in Swedish meda cited by Ynet, Atris owned a salon in Gothenburg, Sweden
