Two men were arrested at 2am today for allegedly stealing an iPhone5 from a passerby at Soi Chamchan in the Watthana District.
Thonglor police said that 30-year-old Narut Kittithana-olan and 21-year-old Amphol Thoopprasert forced the THB25,000 smartphone from the victim and fled the scene on a motorcycle.
The suspects told police that they were released from a rehabilitation center four days ago and that they intended to sell the phone to buy more drugs. According to Dailynews, the pair will be handed over to the Thonglor Police Station for further interrogation.
