Police are looking for an Indian man who is suspected of brutally murdering an American lady in a fancy hotel in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok on Feb. 13.
Sengvi Raites Napatach, a 26-year-old Indian man, is believed to have fled Thailand to somewhere else in Asia, The Daily News reported.
Regarding the discovery of the crime, a report came in to the police that the woman had been murdered in a luxury suite at a 32 floor hotel in the mid-Sukhumvit area. Upon arriving at the scene they found 52-year-old American woman Wendy S. Albrano, with five wounds from a sharp object to her chest.
The victim was on her back in a pool of blood in the bathroom, police found bruises on her neck consistent with strangling. The forensic team estimated that she had been dead for 20 hours when they found the body around 7:30pm on Feb. 13.
CCTV footage shows that the suspect was with the victim when they checked into the hotel on Feb. 9. He was also caught on CCTV leaving the hotel with luggage some time after the estimated time of the murder.
Police believe that the pair had an argument before Napatach killed Albrano and fled.

Authorities have contacted the US Embassy in Bangkok and will perform an autopsy to find out more details.
Thai police are also working with the embassy and international police to help catch the suspect.
