At 2:30AM this morning, Lumpini police arrested a gang of seven minors, aged 13 to 16, who had staged seven robberies in one night, three of which occurred within the same hour.
Police stopped the gang on Soi Sukhumvit 1 in the Watthana District and seized two motorcycles, THB4,000 in cash, four mobile phones, four wrist watches, one heart-shaped golden locket and one tablet.
The arrest was facilitated by a tip-off, which implied that the bandits had conducted three separate robberies within the period of roughly one hour. These robberies happened in areas of Pathumwan’s Narathiwat Ratchanakarin Road, Khlong Toei’s Duang Phithak Road and Soi Sukhumvit 1, where the bust was performed.
According to Dailynews, all the suspects confessed to their offenses, saying they had began their crime spree in the early evening of Jan. 12.
Out of the four robberies that were not performed within the space of an hour, three took place in Din Daeng and one in Lumpini.
