Former Miss Thailand’s car robbed

Surija “Nui” Arunpipat, a former winner of the Miss Thailand pageant, yesterday submitted a report to Chokchai police stating that her car had been broken into and that the robber had made away with her belongings, worth a combined THB125,000.

Nui had reportedly parked her Mercedes-Benz C250 sedan on Soi Senanikom 1 in the Lat Phrao District a little before 12am. When the 30-year-old actress went back to her car, she discovered that her car’s side window had been smashed and that several items – a Chanel handbag, a Chanel wallet and THB5,000 in cash – were missing.

Police said that they were looking for a woman, aged 25-30, who had been seen riding on her motorcycle around Nui’s car right before the robbery took place. Dailynews said that investigators would collect fingerprints from the car and review CCTV camera footage in order to identify the criminal.
