Flooding death toll reaches 708 with three still missing

The nationwide death toll from flooding around Thailand this year is now 708 with three people still missing, the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department said today Dec. 14.

3,652 villages in 80 districts of nine provinces in the upper part of the country – Bangkok, Ang Thong, Ayutthaya, Lop Buri, Suphan Buri, Nakhon Pathom, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi and Samut Sakhon – are still flooded.
