Flood death toll raised to 628

The death toll from flooding throughout Thailand was estimated at 628 people with three missing Nov. 29 by the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department  today.

The department said that 621 people have been killed in northern and central provinces while seven died in southern provinces, the Nation reported.

22 provinces are currently affected by the floods, seven in the south and 15 in central Thailand.
