First day of school causes mega traffic jams in Bangkok

The first day of the new school year has caused severe traffic jams throughout Bangkok today Dec. 13,TANN is reporting.

Traffic police said that most parts of the capital, including Petchaburi Road, Asoke Junction, Rama 7 Bridge, and Charan Sanitwong Road are totally gridlocked. Ramkamhaeng Road, Rama IX Road, and Khlong Tan District are also majorly backed up.
