Family comes to Thailand to search for missing Brit

The family of 22-year-old Brit Tom Armstrong has engaged an energetic search for its son, who has been missing in Thailand since mid-Jan.

Armstrong had originally come to the Kingdom in order undertake dive instruction, but failed to board his Jan. 8 flight back to the UK, as planned. As reported in the Phuket News, Armstrong’s family has not heard from him since that date.

Helen Armstrong-Bland, Tom’s mother, is planning to fly to Thailand in order to search for her son, who was last reported as having turned up in the Bangkok area.

Tom Armstrong is described as roughly six feet tall, with blond hair and a medium build. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is encouraged to contact Thai authorities.
