Channel 7 actress Kemmanij “Pancake” Jamikorn admitting yesterday that a reported robbery at her house in Bangkok was just a case of misplaced belongings.
Pancake told Minburi police on Jan. 23 that jewelry worth THB215,000 had been stolen from her house, as reported by Coconuts Bangkok. The star insisted that she had discovered fingerprints all over her bathroom where she had placed a Rolex wristwatch, a diamond ring and a pair of diamond earrings, which were missing.
During the press conference this afternoon, Nuannong, Pancake’s mother, offered an apology to police officers and her daughter’s fans nationwide, who had hoped her case would be resolved quickly.
“I don’t want to talk about whether a robber broke into my house,” said Nuannong. “I just want to inform police to stop the investigation since I found my property.”
Dailynews reported that Pancake and her mother did not display the items at the press conference and, after delivering the update, immediately left the press conference without answering any questions from reporters.
