A resourceful pervert with a penchant for “upskirts” was nabbed by the cops in an advanced state of drunkenness in a hospital on the outskirts of Greater Bangkok yesterday.
Narin Ritthi, 31, was caught by Pathum Thani cops with a piece of mirror stuck to one of his shoes. He had apparently spent the morning getting drunk – and using the reflective surface to look up unsuspecting women’s skirts.
A security guard at Pathum Thani Hospital eventually detained him and called the police.
In what was described as a “matter of fact” manner, Narin told officers he had gotten up that morning and gone to a Tesco-Lotus department store.
Then he started getting “abnormal” thoughts and stuck the mirror to his shoe. He managed to get a few upskirt views before being chased out the store by a security guard.
He moved on to the hospital about 200 meters away, where he copped an eyeful of several victims who walked by, including women who worked at the facility and patients.
Inspector Banjong Nuwa of Pathum Thani City Police Station said Narin had confessed to his perverted antics and would be charged with public obscenity.
