Yep, it’s currently 22 degrees celsius (72 degrees fahrenheit) this morning, with a wonderful cool wind blowing.
It’s even colder up in Chiang Mai and Isaan, where temperatures at night are dropping as low as 15 degrees celsius (59 degrees fahrenheit).
The Thailand Meteorological Department says that an intense high pressure area from China has extended over upper Thailand and the South China Sea and that high mountains in Thailand will experience very cold weather and frost.
In Bangkok, lows of 16-17 degrees celsius (60-62 degrees fahrenheit) at night and in the morning and northeasterly winds of 10-30 km/hr are expected over the next week.
