Today is International Women’s Day! Those interested in celebrating the holiday can do so at Siam Paragon, where a flash mob will meet this evening at 6:15pm for the purpose of making “a stand for the end of violence against women and girls.”
Participants (mobsters?) will gather at the Siam Paragon McDonalds.
If you can’t make it to tonight’s festivities, consider visiting “From Peace to Power: Women in the Restive South” – an event taking place from March 13 to 16 in Central World Plaza.
“From Peace to Power” concerns itself with the plight of women in Thailand’s Deep South and includes a photo exhibition, food tasting and musical performances.
