A motorist was killed when his car flew off the Sri Saman expressway in Pathum Thani early Wednesday morning, police said.
According to a witness, the car, a red Honda Civic with the license plate Sor Chor 5718 Bangkok, immediately caught fire after it plummeted from the expressway. The car and driver were burnt completely by the time the police arrived.
A review of the CCTV footage shows that the car crashed into a 10-wheel truck before plunging down from the expressway, the Bangkok Post reported.
The driver’s body was sent for autopsy at the Central Institute of Forensic Science, police said.
