Two teenage thieves who attacked several people with a samurai sword during robberies in Bangkok’s Pracha U-tit area have been arrested.
Bangkok Police Chief Pol Lt Gen Kamronwit Thupkrachang announced the arrest today of Nawin Chuenchob, 18, and a 16-year-old accomplice.
“These youths drove around on a motorcycle and attacked their victims with a samurai-style sword and fled with their valuables,” Pol Lt Gen Kamronwit told reporters.
One of the victims was a 40-year-old woman and a few were seriously injured.
Investigators tracked the pair down and arrested them in Samut Prakan.
Police seized a motorcycle and a 45-centimeter sword from the suspects, the Bangkok Post reported.
